The Companion to Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood is a workbook that accompanies the original text, Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, edited by John Piper and Wayne Grudem. The Companion takes an expository approach to some of the most significant gender related passages in all of Scripture. Texts such as Genesis 1-3, Proverbs 31:10-31, Ephesians 5:21-33, 1 Tim 2:11-15, and 1 Peter 3:1-7 are each laid out verse by verse. It is designed to be used as a 12 week study. Most of the lessons can be taught in about 45 minutes. Pastors and lay people are encouraged to teach through The Companion in settings ranging from Sunday School to discipleship groups to marriage enrichment conferences.
